Come and check out the COOLEST FARM STAND at 1233 Cape Split Road in SCOTS BAY!  It was a joint project with a local master round-wood carpenter, Mark Alvis of Kingfisher Carpentry in Gaspereau, NS, and generously backed with a loan from The Dandelion Community Investment Cooperative Ltd.  We will hopefully be installing solar panels to run a small fridge for our farm-fresh eggs and highly perishable products.  You can pick up a delicious juicy free range chicken by coming to our back door, too!  We look forward to seeing you in the Spring!

Our new farm stand uses our own wood for the peeled round-wood pole framing and live-edge siding made  by our community miller, recycled antique windows, an a Canadian eastern cedar shake-clad roof.  A small and unique building to showcase the best in creativity, local materials, labour and community funding - HOORAY!
